Once an old coot always an old coot

The Old Coots on Scoots is a Historic
Sanctioned Chapter of the AMA,
Sanction #6911. It was founded in
1947 by George Harris Tucker, for the
sole purpose of just having fun while
riding motorcycles with friends. G.
H. Tucker rode with the group until
his death in 1951. George's son, Dan,
restarted The Old Coots on Scoots in
1984 in Santa Rosa, California. After
Dan's passing in 2011, his son Dave
Allen has taken the helm. There are
now 64 active chapters in the world.
All members are Lifetime Members, as
once you are an Old Coot, you will
always be an Old Coot!

The Old Coots on Scoots is a group of
motorcycle riders that enjoy each others
company and enjoy the sport of motorcycle
riding. The group (Chapter 43) was
founded by James "Frog" Delmore in Rio
Rancho New Mexico on August 8, 2008. The
only rule in this outstanding chapter is
that there are no rules.
